Monaghan Sports Partnership was established in 2006 under the direction of the Irish Sports Council (now known as Sport Ireland). Its day to day activities are directed and guided by a board of members and implemented by a full time sports co-ordinator and administrator.
At Monaghan Sports Partnership we have made it our mission to increase the number of people participating in sport, exercise and physical activity in County Monaghan. In achieving this mission we will place particular focus on activity programmes that target young people, teenage girls, women, people with disabilities, minority groups and older people.
